The Department of History and the Social Sciences is located entirely in the Callaway Academic Building on the LaGrange College campus. The areas of study that belong to this department include History, Sociology, and Political Science.
Dr. Kevin Shirley is the chair of the department and the coordinator for the History program. Dr. Bobby Jo Otto serves as the coordinator for the Sociology and Anthropology program. The Political Science program is coordinated by Dr. John Tures.
